About the Role:

Lead the Site Reliability Engineering team and ensure the performance and scalability our systems and services. Responsibilities include incident management and response, automation and tooling, continuous improvement, risk management and disaster recovery planning, and partner engagement. You will have a critical role in maintaining the stability of systems, driving efficiency through automation, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the team. You will report into the Lead Manager - Digital Delivery.

You Will:

  • Promote automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual toil.
  • Lead the team in resolving critical incidents, coordinating with relevant partners, and driving post-incident reviews.
  • Respond to customer requests, troubleshooting reported problems. You will be an escalation point to resolve urgent or complex issues and manage expectations.
  • Contribute to training materials and instructions for end-users. Apply the understanding of DevOps and software engineering best practices to influence design and implementation.
  • You will model operational readiness through the engineering and execution of performance and tuning analysis, systems support, incident and problem resolution, software configuration and system/features upgrades.
  • Find and address risks related to web development, infrastructure, and security vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
  • Understand how our applications work with different systems and business processes to ensure they operate smoothly. Research and remain informed of new technology and development tools.

You Have:

  • Experience in advanced software development.
  • Experience working on Zuora, CommerceTools, Okta, ShipStation, Zeplin, and Zoominfo.
  • Experience in project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, and related tools and practices will be beneficial.
  • Industry certifications, such as Certified Site Reliability Engineer (CSRE) or certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer), can be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with specific vendor technologies commonly used in our tech stack. This could include experience with specific cloud platforms, monitoring and observability tools, deployment and orchestration tools, and incident management platforms.
  • Experience working across multiple domains or industries can be beneficial. Exposure to different technology stacks or diverse operational environments help to bring ideas and best practices from different contexts.
