About the Role:
You will write engaging, compelling content on technical accounting and finance topics that ,meet the requirements of the target audience. You will provide well-researched written content through a variety of media, translating technical content into well-understood information using our organizational tone of voice and writing style. You will report to the Senior Manager - Technical Content. You can work remotely or from our office.
You Will:
- Determine the most, precise way to present complex technical information.
- Develop several long-form technical materials such as: reviews; professional literature; technical Q&As; Audit, Accounting, Valuation Guides; Audit Risk Alerts; on complex accounting and finance topics.
- Write content to meet requirements of the content brief, applying brand and technical expertise to expert partners and lay audiences.
- Investigate aspects of brief and develop follow-up questions/requirements/input/feedback for successful output.
- Use the Association style of writing to create easily understood pieces of written information.
- Research technical topics.
- Mentor/advise junior writers.
- Brainstorm concepts and translate to on-brand content.
- Work with editing colleagues and freelancers to ensure no change of writing and editing process.
You Have:
7+ years of experience in technical writing
Bachelor's degree
CPA license, CGMA credential or equivalent
Hands-on experience with business or financial writing; creative copywriting, including experience in an agency or in-house creative department.
Experience reviewing copy, presenting concepts and partner feedback.
Translate complex technical and business subjects into engaging, understandable copy.

The Salary Range for this role is: $90k to $120k
