About the Role:

You will lead and define the strategic direction for the Association to upskill and reskill the accounting profession, driving its ongoing vibrancy and relevance. You will develop a plan that integrates compelling content across conferences, online events, learning and technical publications in multiple formats. You will develop the portfolio with a commercial mindset and revenue strategies in mind. You'll work remotely and report to the VP Experience.

You Will:

  • Lead the implementation of the Association's global learning and technical product strategy with the goal of increasing engagement, value, efficiencies and in compliance with NASBA standards. Lead the design of technical product and learning content to deliver engaging learning experiences that contribute to the competency development of members, students, engaged professionals and Firms and Employers. You will understand the competitive environment, market analysis and understanding of customer preferences.
  • Lead the global conference development and meetings management, to provide a comprehensive program of high quality, relevant, practical, and cost-effective conference programs, and web events. Responsible for important partner management both internal and with external volunteers and paid experts. Lead reimaging of conferences to improve experience, value realization of participants and integration into learning strategy. Grow conference attendance, increase engagement, and improve experience and cost structure for committee meetings, Board meetings and Council meetings.
  • Lead the online event team to deliver online conferences and webcasts for live conference events, fully remote and monthly webcasts. Manage multiple propositions with stakeholders for incorporation into our overall learning strategy.
  • Create and lead a commercially focused team to increase growth in learning revenue and volume across all products.

You Have:

  • 15+ years of extensive experience that includes progressive leadership roles in learning departments within leading commercial learning providers, CPA or consulting firms, or corporations
  • 10+ years of management experience driving strategic and revenue results.
  • Degree in education, business administration or a related subject.
  • Experience with learning technology, instructional design, behavioural psychology and educational psychology or relevant experience.
  • Past success in implementing and delivering innovations to market, meeting learner success metrics and organizational commercial goals
  • Experience in accounting and finance profession
  • Experience working with a non-profit committee structure
  • Experience working with senior-level leadership
